Has anyone stayed here? Fuck I want to now. Their website is the best I have seen. I recommend looking at the “Suite they don’t have.” (Quicktime Required)

I am currently sick with an ugly chest cold, or infection or some garbage which up until today hadn’t made me feel all that bad, but now it’s just getting out of hand. So I bought some Benylin Extra Strength Chest Cough Syrop. I took a triple dose of it and it did exactly as I had hoped. It didn’t really make my chest feel any better but it did make my high enough not to care anymore.
Side note: when I was looking for a suitable image I searched Google for “Benylin Chest Cough” and they asked if I meant “Benylin Chesty Cough” (emphasis Google’s) and I thought “Ha! They think I am looking for Porn!” So of course I clicked on it, and guess what? I got this:

Apparently the Brits call my cough a “Chesty” Cough.
I will now be known as “Chesty” to anyone who cares to call me that.

Because I love displaying my music tastes to anyone that cares, and because I am continually on the look out for new things that catch my ear, (look-out, catch ear? talk about mixed metaphors) My newest love is Last.fm. There, everything that is played on your computer, or iPod is tallied up and a webpage of charts and recently played songs is there for anyone to look at. THEN, and this is the fun part, you get “neighbours” who have similar listening habits as you do. You can look at their charts and see if they are listening to anything that you might be interested.
Another feature of the website is the Last.fm player, that automatically plays songs from your neighbours playlists. Although, I have had limited success with that because, if they’re listening habits are that similar, why would you want to listen to songs from their playlists? I have found that the really cool things are in my neighbour’s neighbour’s charts.
UPDATE: Stupidly, I didn’t tell you where to see my charts. They are here.

eFrank is having a competition for the lamest Canadian. Go vote today!
I think we (Canada) needs more of this sort of stuff. Sure we are self deprecating and apologetic, but we don’t really openly mock the people that need it, besides our politicians that is. The AirFarce only took us so far, we need to be a little more nasty to ourselves so we can grow a little stronger and have a little worse of an attitude.

It starts off innocent enough but as you scroll down things get a little disturbing.
Ugg. I am pretty sure that the fact that the pizzas look like festering wounds is unintentional.

Typetester shows you what your type settings will look like on-screen without having render it on your page. You can also compare three different settings side by side, and then get the CSS for the one you want spit out for you.
Nice.
