With both great trepidation and glee I got myself a cellphone yesterday. It is a
Sony Ericsson T610. It has a camera, and Bluetooth all that other cool crap that comes along with one of these things.
At this point the poll on what I should do with my tax rebate is becoming more and more useless, because the most likely thing I will be getting aside from this phone is the only other item to only receive one (1) vote.
I will now present you with fuzzy photos from my new phone.

As usual, found by Will. I can never find the good quizes, just What Lord of the Rings character are you? Which member of the OC are you? or “Are you an emotional cripple or a emotional basket case, there is Nothing In Between!!!”

You are Weed!
Laid back and calm, you are an easy person to hang
out with once people get to know you. You are
hard to offend, and don’t do all that much to
try to offend others. Just be careful, too much
lack of motivation (aka pot) will not get you
very far in life.

I am sure I am late jumping on the “meme” but hell, I had to show you guys this. “Screenshots” is a series of works done isometricaly, (think The Sims) that depict moments in history and scenes from movies.
The only reason I went to see this was because it stared Javier Bardem.
Pluses – beautifully shot. interesting story. great acting.
Minuses – Flinches when dealing with disability, maybe to offset the depressing subject matter (euthanasia). Unaffecting. Although I liked the acting, I didn’t really feel deeply for the characters. I have been known to be a cold bastard though.
The crane shot that Kevin lauded is stunning, as expected from Scorsese. But it is not at all transparent, and this type of camerawork doesn’t really suit the story. Compare to the overhead shot after the bloodbath in Taxi Driver, which gave you a complete picture of what Travis had done. Unlike that shot, the ones in Alice do nothing to convey a feeling about the story. (although I did quite enjoy the way Marty shot Ellen’s entrance from the brightly lit street into the dark bar) The handheld work is much more suited.
The other flaw in this move was editing, pacing and length were problematic.
Though not bad, I most likely won’t watch this a second time.
Here is everything that I have ever recorded. Except for the really bad stuff from when I first started out and the embarrassing electroclash xmas carols.
I have bumped this entry up to get more votes.
I haven’t even got my T4 slip yet and already I am spending my rebate in my head. Most of the money will be going to VISA, but I always keep a small portion of it for a little treat for myself. Let me know what you think I should get:
Oh! I almost forgot. Eric sent me an email alerting me that the GLC are selling their car on eBay.

comes complete with a bit of GLC interior gold, a few pieces of choice leisurewear and some litter (lotto scratch cards, original hubcaps, bottles of Carlsberg) we still have the back bumper but thats likely to be kept as a memento for what she was.
So in true GLC form, they get something for free, tear the shit out of it, and then sell it for more than it was worth in the first place. Atta boys.
This Izzum has a feature on Bird Dog Alternative Video. Since I had nothing else for you today, (or yesterday) here is a WIP of my illustration for it. Made with Sketchup. It depicts a kung-fu movie being shot in the store. High concept, I know. I ran out of ideas the minute I left art school.

GI-Joe has been taken hostage in Iraq. I am relieved that a real person is not in harm’s way in this “drama”, but really, how lazy can you get?
You said.
