You know what would make this post even better? An IMDB link to every movie listed. Yeah, I know there’s only so many hours in the day.

  2. Mason says:

    I had thought about it…
I have to get around to doing the ones I “review” as well.

Any time you have suggestions for the site, let’er rip.

  3. Kevin says:

A nice little selection including a healthy dose of Peckinpah. Instead of imdb links use AllMovieGuide . Much much better. Are these movies you are recommending or ones you’ve yet to see but want to?

  4. Mason says:

    Ambiguity noted. Title changed.

the Peckinpah is due to a lot of these films being written down during “Easy Riders, Raging Bulls”.

  5. Kevin says:

Well then. Here’s my take on the selection: Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore opens with one of the best crane shots I’ve ever seen; Bonnie and Clyde, despite its faults, is quite fun. I can’t believe you haven’t seen Dr. Strangelove yet. Dr. Zhivago is overrated. The King of Comedy is soooo fucking good. La Dolce Vita a stunner. MASH nihilistic; McCabe and Mrs. Miller has some of the best cinematography I know. Both Straw Dogs and the Wild Bunch are not going to leave your thoughts for a while. Vertigo is simply put, devastating. There’s some others in there that I’ve seen but they didn’t warrant comment. Oh, except the Wickerman. Fucking hilarious. Get at it.

  6. Mason says:

I actually have seen Strangelove, that was a left-over from a list that combined both mine and Alison’s to-watch lists.

    She is sheltered.
