Substitute
For the next two or three days I am posting to Flashcube dot org. It seems that Eric trusts me, the most slack blogger ever, to update the well oiled machine that is Flashcube.

Joe lost his job in a law office a week ago. He has been blogging about what happened and what his take on the matter has been.
(Yes Joe, it’s a slow newsday for me.)

My new hard drive arrived today. I am so fucking happy. No, really. Words can not describe the relief I feel now that my computer no longer ch-ch-ch-chugs whenever I do anything that involves a file over 100 megs.
I sold a few things on eBay that didn’t make any difference to me anyway and bought this kick ass hard drive. Which is 20 Gigs bigger and is 1200 rpm faster and has a huge 16 Mb (!) cache.
Right now I am using it in one of these. After this Izzum is done I will take the plunge and crack my computer open and replace the old hard drive.
Thanks to all who wished me well in my time of need.

If you want a place that has a massive selection and is about a tenth the price go here: Allofmp3.com. You can use Paypal to buy credits, which keeps your credit card info safe, and also lets you use direct debit if you like. At a buck a gig, and any format you want (mp3, ogg, acc, wav, etc…) with no Digital Restriction Management schemes, you can’t go wrong.
On a side note, notice how U2 has 666 songs at the US ITMS? And they are selling that mega box set, meaning that they have every song ever done by them… ooooooo, creepy.
You said.
