Ever have different things going on in your life that are stressful, some in a good way, some in a bad way. The over all effect is like drinking a pot of coffee and then getting pissed. Feeling energetic, and out of control and a little sick to the stomach.
Then, DO drink a pot of coffee and then get pissed (well, maybe just have three glasses of wine).
Coupled with my already paranoid personality, this situation has me a little fucked up. (yes I am being vague on purpose)
It’s like I am Truman and this is sweeps week.
There, now I have finally written something worthy of a Livejournal. Sometimes I need to act like a teenager to feel better, alright?

Well, he has done it again. He has made another album and kids, I don’t think it will have the same appeal as The Transformed Man. Why? Well have a listen to his version of (sigh, it pains me to say it) Common People. With Joe Jackson of all people.

I have been writing reviews here and in Izzum for the past three months and I have gotten little to no feedback. I just wanted to let you know that I am open to suggestions to make my writing better. This includes, but not limited to, beating me down for bad grammar or spelling, fucked up opinions, faulty fact checking, and plain old boringness.

Could my enthusiasm just be because the colour scheme of BFM goes so well with My Own Biggest Fan? Maybe.
What I really want to know though, is: Is there a photoshop brush or plugin that does a drippy paint effect like in BFM? If so point me in the right direction.

I am very pleased with myself. I had a link I submitted to BoingBoing accepted. I have submitted like a million things to both Slashdot and Fark and got zilch accepted. I guess I am just in better company now.
The funniest thing? They messed up the link to my website and therefore I am not going to get any of the high-traffic goodness from it. Hmm, if it were fixed then we would have recursive blog posts; cool.
I am a big supporter of the Creative Commons Licence. Its purpose, in a nutshell, is to give the creator of a work control over the rights that they want to retain, and those that they want to give up. For instance, unless it is specified, anyone who wants to distribute an entry on Myownbiggestfan.org or who quotes it extensively in another work has no idea if they are in for legal repercussions or not if they do so. To make things more clear, on the main page there is a button that looks like this. 
If you click it it shows exactly what rights I want to retain and those that I surrender to the public domain. For example, anyone can make a derivative work of a record review of mine, or even quote the whole damn thing, as long as they credit me.
Currently I am using a CC Licence that is specified under US law. I have no idea if this is in any way enforceable or even useful, (Joe, do you know?) but that is all I have. Now there are major steps being taken to make a Canadian counterpart. In my own immortal words, “This is exciting shit!” Well, at least for me.
